House Rules & Guest Policy

A few simple rules keep The North Villa a safe, peaceful and welcoming home for every group — and keep us on good terms with our neighbours. By staying with us, you and your party agree to follow them.

Occupancy & guests

• The villa sleeps up to 15 guests. The number of guests must not exceed the number confirmed at booking.
• Day visitors, extra guests or any gathering beyond your party must be approved by us in advance and may carry an additional charge.
• The lead guest must be at least 18 and is responsible for the whole party, including children and guests.

Check-in & check-out

• Check-in from 1:00 PM; check-out by 11:00 AM.
• Please carry valid government photo ID for all adults, as required for guest registration in Goa.

Noise & quiet hours

• The villa is in a residential area. Please keep noise respectful at all times and to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Loud music and amplified sound outdoors late at night are not permitted, in keeping with local rules.

Parties & events

Small celebrations with your own group are welcome. Larger events, functions or parties with outside guests are only allowed with our prior written approval and may be subject to terms and an event charge. Unauthorised events may end the stay without refund.

Pool & facilities safety

• Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at the pool and around the property at all times.
• No glass in or around the pool. Please shower before swimming and avoid swimming under the influence of alcohol.
• Use the kitchen, BBQ, appliances and electrical fittings safely and as intended.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa or bedrooms. Please smoke only in designated outdoor areas and dispose of waste safely.

Pets

Pets may be allowed by prior request and written approval only. Please ask us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.

Care of the property

• Treat the villa, furnishings and grounds with care. Report any damage or maintenance issue to the caretaker promptly.
• Damage, breakage or loss beyond normal wear and tear may be charged or deducted from the security deposit.
• Please conserve water and electricity, and switch off air-conditioning, lights and taps when not in use.

Staff & privacy

A live-in caretaker and support staff are on hand 24×7 to help with your stay. Please treat them with courtesy. They may need access to service areas of the property; your private areas will be respected.

Safety & the law

Illegal activity, including the use of illegal substances, is strictly prohibited. Please follow fire-safety precautions and do not tamper with safety equipment. We reserve the right to end a stay without refund for serious or repeated breaches of these rules or any conduct that endangers people or the property.
